Dr. Chris Brace is a Professor in the Departments of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering and conducts research in applications of electromagnetics in medicine, image‑guided interventional oncology, multiphysics simulation, and medical imaging. Dr. Brace is an elected Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, and is a Senior IEEE member. He has been actively involved in research mentor training initiatives at UW–Madison since 2011 and has facilitated mentor training courses for engineering and STEM groups at numerous institutions nationwide.
