Training Overview

CIMER provides training for individuals, institutions, and organizations across the country to optimize research mentoring relationships.

Our process begins with helping you understand and assess the full mentorship landscape at your organization with an initial consultation after completing a Service Request Form. From there, we work collaboratively to clarify your goals and recommend solutions that can include:

  • Facilitating research mentor and mentee training for mentees and mentors at all career stages and across disciplines
  • Facilitating train-the-trainer programs for implementation at host institutions
  • Facilitating program development workshops to be implemented with trainees
  • Leading workshops to develop evaluations for research training courses or programs
