Mentoring Up

An interactive learning approach designed for post-doctoral scholars and junior faculty to develop skills to proactively manage their mentoring relationships.

Audience: Post-docs and junior faculty 

Related Curricula: Mentoring Up (integrates topics for Entering Research and Entering Mentoring)

Format: Online (up to 24 participants); in person (up to 32 participants). Privately hosted by an organization.

Culturally Aware Mentoring

This full-day advanced workshop will equip you with the skills to address cultural diversity in research mentoring relationships by increasing your personal cultural awareness and applying evidence-based strategies to foster culturally aware mentoring behaviors.

Audience: Faculty member, instructor, or administrator currently mentoring any career stage

Format: Online and in person, up to 30 participants. Privately hosted and publicly hosted by CIMER.

CIMER’s Advancing Mentorship Program (CAMP) Workshop

CAM workshops are advanced trainings intended for mentors who have already completed core mentorship education and reflected on their practice. 

Audience: Mentors who want to enrich their practice through an intensive, collaborative exploration of mentorship in all disciplines

Format: Online (two hours monthly), one in-person meeting in Madison
